How something that began as an impromptu Halloween gag evolved into an online choose-your-own-adventure horror / sci-fi story that I finally finished four months later, I’ll never know.
Presented here is a short story inspired by one of my favorite video games of all time. Though it’s been over a decade, none of the content has been changed from when I initially wrote it. Enjoy!

“Please finish the story: Santa Claus, Wonder Woman and I were sitting on a park bench…“
Those were the only instructions I was given for this creative writing project where if I crafted a good story (among other written tasks), I’d land a teaching job. In the end, I didn’t get the offer but personally I think I cranked the creativity up to 11 and broke off the knob.
